Mission
My Sister's House exists to grow women in their relationship with Christ Jesus, so that they, in turn, may share Jesus with people in this community and abroad, providing others with a saving knowledge of Christ Jesus and making disciples of all nations.
Profile
Our Purpose: Our discipleship home is a place where life is based on the premise that true recovery from our old life of “self and sin” is only possible by the work of Jesus in our lives and His transforming power. The only way to abstain from our old life is by the transforming of our hearts and minds - by filling ourselves with the Word of God and practicing His fullness (requirements in our home). My Sister's House is a place of healing and deliverance; this is our main focus. Our residents are required to have a desire to live a life of progress by always abounding for the prize of the upward call.
Our Values: My Sister's House values are the same as those presented in God’s Word. We will adhere to these values by admitting our weaknesses and allowing God to empower us to walk in His Spirit to achieve a life of holiness and Godliness.
Admissions: We will work to provide those with sin in their life an opportunity to become a resident of My Sister's House. Potential residents will meet with a staff member and be personally walked through expectations and commitments prior to becoming a part of Christ’s home.
Finances: My Sister's House is a non-profit organization. The organization is supported by the Body of Christ and the residents’ weekly rent. The residents of My Sister's House are required to obtain employment, thus not only enabling them to develop financial skills but also to support the home. These learned skills will help the residents as they move out of the house and move on in their own lives.
