Specific Need

Currently we have an opportunity to assist a local resident who needs cataracts surgery and doesn't have insurance to cover the expense. 

Profile

Lions club and sight are synonymous.  We have been doing vision screening in our local schools, preschools, and daycares for several years.  The Lions Club is raising funds to be used for local financial vision assistance, community benefit projects/requests (I.e. Eagle Scouts projects, school and library reading programs, etc.) and local scholarships.  Our club also is focusing on plastic recycling and using that project to place a park bench, made from recycled plastic, in the community each year.
