Specific Need
The Appleseed Innovation Grant program is financed through an endowed fund within the USD#113 Foundation. Because it is endowed, the actual charitable donations are not annually awarded. Rather, the annual investment earnings from the donations to the fund will be awarded. Your ongoing support of this fund increases these available investment earnings and, thus, the amount available for distribution to the schools. Endowed funds are wise donation choices.
Mission
The USD 113 Appleseed Innovation Grant was established in 2016 to encourage employees of USD 113 Prairie Hills to search out and implement innovative ways to impact student engagement and learning. The grant is awarded annually for projects that are selected to enhance and improve the educational experience for the students of the district. All district employees may apply. USD 113 has schools in Sabetha, Wetmore and Axtell, Kansas.Profile
