Specific Need

GSCF Community Grants Endowment

This fund will build to reach an endowment amount at which time the GSCF Board of Directors will begin to give grants to area projects.

Any unrestricted donations to GSCF will be pooled in this unrestricted fund to build an endowment for community causes. 

Unrestricted

With our ever-changing community needs and priorities, it is the unrestricted gift that is the most valuable and enduring for a community. Unrestricted funds are for donors who have broad community interests but no specific priorities. These funds provide the Greater Sabetha Community Foundation the most flexibility in directing resources toward challenges and opportunities in our community.

Mission

Grants for Greater Sabetha --This fund will hold its principal in perpetuity and will only pay out a small portion, app. 4 - 5 % per year that will then be granted to local programs, projects and organizations. Investments will be made that intend to contribute to both the growth of the principal and the income generated by the endowment.

The goal is to build this grant as an endowment and begin granting to area projects and nonprofits.
