ARC Wild Inc

Goal: $10,000.00

Specific Need

It takes a village to save the life of an orphaned wild animal. It also takes a lot of formula, medicine, food, equipment and months of specialized care. ARC Wild doesn't receive government funding but instead relies on the support of animal lovers like you. When you called, we were there. Now, it's your turn to help us! Here is how your donation will be used:

  • Support our wildlife rehabilitation hotline and services. When you call, we answer the phone 24/7 and provide our professional rescue services to  rural northeast Kansas counties including Nemaha, Brown, Atchison, Doniphan, Jackson, Pottawattomie, Marshall and Washington counties. Our team is made up of six licensed wildlife rehabilitators and three transporters.
  • Provide a live animal program in your community. In 2024, we expanded our programs to include adults! We traveled all over northeast Kansas providing programs at schools, community events and even nursing homes. Programs can be tailored to any subject, age level, ability or group size.
  • Sponsor ARC Wild Rangers - In 2024 we doubled the size of our Ranger program giving even more students in 4th-8th grade the opportunity to go behind the scenes to learn about careers in conservation and science.  Help us sponsor the 2025-2026 Ranger Kids!
  • Sponsor a NEW wildlife animal ambassador. Animal ambassadors give our community an up close and personal experience with native wildlife in Kansas but they require ongoing care, veterinary care, caging and more. Help us give a non-releaseable wild animal a second chance to live through teaching about conservation.
